Supertech to invest Rs 2,250 cr on housing project in Noida

Real estate company Supertech today said it will invest Rs 2,250 crore to develop a luxury housing project in Noida and has roped in Twinkle Khanna,former film actress,as the interior designer.

Real estate company Supertech today said it will invest Rs 2,250 crore to develop a luxury housing project in Noida and has roped in Twinkle Khanna,former film actress,as the interior designer.

The Noida-based company will develop 650 flats in ‘ORB’ project,a part of 50-acre integrated township ‘Capetown’.

“We are launching three towers which are circular in shape at an initial price between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 2.5 crore. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 2,250 crore,” Supertech Chairman and Managing Director R K Arora told reporters here.

“Twinkle Khanna has designed this project and she is master in this field,” he added.

The project has been designed in a way to create maximum interior space and the circular shape of towers would provide uninterrupted supply of air and 180 degree view.

The investment would be funded through debt and internal accrual,Arora said,adding that the construction has started and would be completed in the next 42 months.

Addressing the conference,Khanna said,”We are creating a global contemporary modern homes with absolute unique design.”

It is a blend of four things — space,structure,colour balance and unexpected element,she added.

Khanna said she has been in this business for last 10 years and has no plans to return to bollywood. “I have worked with many developers and hospitality chains like Marriott and done a lot of homes for bollywood stars.”

Asked whether she has said goodbye to bollywood,Khanna quipped “I think so”.
