Veteran Malayalam film actor Jagathy Sreekumar,undergoing treatment for serious injuries suffered in a road accident,was making satisfactory progress,said the doctors of the Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences MIMS hospital in Kozhikode where he is admitted.
Stating that physiotherapy had been started,Sreekumar was able to breath without ventilator support most of the time. Sreekumar,who suffered serious multiple injuries when his car hit the road divider at nearby Tenhipalam in Malappuram district,had undergone various surgeries.
Anil Kumar,the driver of Sreekumars car which met with the accident on March 10 and admitted to the hospital with injuries,was discharged recently.
