There may be few things BSP chief Mayawati and the SPs Mulayam Singh Yadav can agree upon,but thats not including former solicitor general Harish Salve. The senior advocate was recently seen representing the former UP chief minister in the disproportionate assets case against him and his family before one court,and two days later,vehemently arguing for Mayawati in an appeal filed by the state in the case of appointment of about 18,000 constables. Clearly,for the Uttar Pradesh political class at least,Salve is the lawyer no. 1.
