Shankar,Ehsaan and Loy have created a special application that will enable them to reach out to fans across the globe.

Shankar,Ehsaan and Loy have announced their association with technology giant Apple by creating a special application that will enable them to reach out to fans across the globe. The composers of films like Dil Chahta Hai,Kal Ho Naa Ho,Rock On!! and Housefull are the first Indian music composers to have a customised application on the iPhone,enabling fans all over the world to stay updated with the latest from them.

The application will also allow access to exclusive content,backstage videos and music from the musicians. And if this was not enough,it will also help fans across borders to come together and be a part of the exclusive Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy community. This tool is not only available to all iPhone users across the globe; but is also compatible with the iPod touch and the iPad.

Commenting on this initiative,the trio quipped,Weve had a very dynamic journey so far and its now time to up the ante and move into other areas of music and songwriting with the help of newer and popular platforms like the Internet,mobile and other digital mediums. The SEL iPhone application is one small step towards making our music available globally and to a varied demographic of music lovers.

The application is created by OML Digital,an Indian company that specialises in building technology for entertainers. OML builds tools that help content creators reach out,monetise and track their content. They believe that by matching content with the right brands,an enriching environment for artistes and users can be created.

EC to announce dates for nationwide Special Intensive Revision tomorrow

The EC will announce the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in multiple states, including Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, on Monday. The exercise, which hasn't been conducted in two decades, aims to update the rolls and eliminate duplicate entries and foreign nationals.
