Rishi Kapoor to leave for South Africa on Sept 16

Rishi Kapoor is going to Africa for a retrospective of his films like Bobby,Karz and Love Aaj Kal,among others.

On September 16,Rishi Kapoor will leave for South Africa where a retrospective of his films is to be held. These will include Bobby,Karz and Love Aaj Kal among others.

“The South African government asked me if they could have a retrospective of my films. I was humbled by the honour and immediately agreed. Some of my most popular movies will be screened in Johannesburg and Durban,” said the actor.

The occasion also marks the 150th anniversary when Indians first stepped on the African soil. The actor will back on September 24 and will start promoting Do Dooni Chaar,his forthcoming comedy with wife Neetu Singh.

Imtiaz Ali to act in Old Monk
Sushil Rajpal,who has helmed the critically-acclaimed Antardwand,has convinced director Imtiaz Ali to face the camera and act in his next project Old Monk.

The film is set in Mumbai and Bihar and will show Ali in a new light as an actor. Incidentally,Ali was the first choice for Antardwand,but since he was busy with his directorial commitments,he suggested Raj Singh Choudhary for the role.

Dus Tola to release on October 22
Dus Tola,a comedy by debutant director Ajoy Varma starring Manoj Bajpayee,Aarti Chhabria,Siddharth Makkar,Govind Namdeo,Asrani,Ninad Kamat and Bharti Achrekar will release on October 22. It is a story about the victory of good over greed.

The story is set in Sonapur,a quaint little town,and is produced by Aryan Brothers Entertainment. It will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in India.
