Ranbir Kapoor was approached by internationally-renowned filmmaker Mira Nair for the lead role in her The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

According to a reliable source,Ranbir Kapoor was approached by internationally-renowned filmmaker Mira Nair for the lead role in her The Reluctant Fundamentalist. The protagonist in the film is a Pakistani who thinks global. But Ranbir is said to have not liked the part and thus turned it down. It is still not confirmed who will act in the film,which is set to take off in March.

YRFs next film almost complete

After the release of Band Baaja Baaraat recently,the shooting of Yash Raj Films next venture is almost complete. Reportedly directed by Shaad Ali who had made the super hit Saathiya for the company,the film is a love story and stars Ranveer Singh and Shradha Kapoor. The still- untitled film was shot mostly in Mumbai,and has only some patchwork left,after which the YRF will make the formal announcement.
