PMO to discuss special package for Uttar Pradesh

The Prime Ministers Office is considering a special package for Uttar Pradesh which has sought Rs 90,000 crore to perk up developmental work in the state and a meeting in this regard is expected to take place here on Wednesday. UP Chief Secretary Javed Usmani will attend the meeting,official sources said. West Bengal,too,has demanded a special package from the Centre to meet its huge debt crisis,but has received no commitment.
