PCS: Candidate with negative marks in prelims to write main

A candidate who secured negative marks in the preliminary examination of Punjab Civil Services (Judicial) has been selected to appear for the main examination.

Tajinder Singh,who secured minus 10 out of 500 in the preliminary examination,has been shortlisted to appear for the main examination of PCS (Judicial). Tajinder falls under the reserved category of SC,LDESM. The result is available on the website of the Punjab Public Service Commission: http://www.ppsc.gov.in.

Tajinder,son of Hardial Singh,gave 23 correct answers,while 102 turned out to be incorrect and is the only candidate with negative marks to have been cleared to appear for the main examination.

While the cut-off in the reserved category has been pegged at Tajinders marks,in the general category,it is 315.
