The fourth accused in the alleged gangrape of a Class XI student here surrendered at a local court on Friday. The police also said they have identified the place where the crime took place the Patna residence of a top Jharkhand official. The police,which suspected a sex racket behind the incident,said the incident took place in a flat in Rajvanshi Nagar locality. A police team took the victim to the flat and seized over 100 porn DVDs,contraceptives and over 50 pair of new clothes for girls. Some bed-sheets and a lungi were also seized on identification of the victim. The investigating team said the flat in Rambha Apartment was owned by Jharkhand Hill Area Lift Irrigation Corporation Limited managing director Suresh Paswan. Paswans youngest son Sushant (26) used to stay at his Patna residence. Patna SSP Amrit Raj said the police will crack the case soon. Though Paswan could not be contacted,one of his staff members in Ranchi,Mohammed Khurshid,confirmed the Patna flat,bought six years ago,belonged to Paswan. Khurshid said,Our boss is a good man. His eldest son lives in Delhi and youngest Sushant in Patna. I am not sure what he does there. Sushant,who allegedly would let out his flat for a price,surrendered late on Friday. Four accused have either surrendered or arrested till now. The fourth boy,a resident of Raza Bazar,surrendered earlier on Friday at the chief judicial magistrate court here. The police are still looking for the fifth boy,who is said to be the son of an influential man.
