Last week was a busy one for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the diplomatic front. On a single day,he met four heads of states and governments from the European Union at separate meetings including President of Slovenia Danilo Turk,Finland PM Matti Vanhanen,PM of Greece George Papandreou and PM of Norway Jens Stoltenberg. All the PMs and the President were in town to attend TERIs annual event on sustainable development. However, while trade and environment issues dominated the Prime Ministers discussions with all of them,Singh pushed all the heads for early adoption of the comprehensive convention on international terrorism, currently under discussion at the UN.
