Nehchal Sandhu new IB director

The appointments committee of the cabinet has cleared the name of Nehchal Sandhu as the next Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

The appointments committee of the cabinet has cleared the name of Nehchal Sandhu as the next Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB). Sandhu is currently a Special Director of the internal intelligence agency and will take over from Rajiv Mathur who retires month-end. Sandhu,a 1973-batch Bihar-cadre IPS officer,has spent over 30 years in the intelligence agency. He is currently number two in the agency.
