NDTV’s loss lowers to Rs 16.51 cr in Jul-Sept

Broadcasting major New Delhi Television today said its consolidated loss has narrowed to Rs 16.51 crore for the quarter ended September 30,2012.

Broadcasting major New Delhi Television (NDTV) today said its consolidated loss has narrowed to Rs 16.51 crore for the quarter ended September 30,2012.

The company had reported a net loss of Rs 22.31 crore in the corresponding period last year,NDTV said in a filing to the BSE.

Total income from operations was also lower at Rs 103.33 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 108.24 crore in the July-September 2011 quarter.

On standalone basis,the company registered a net loss of Rs 15.25 crore in the second quarter of FY13 as against a net loss of Rs 10.70 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Total income from operations on standalone basis stood at Rs 78.45 crore in the quarter under review,while the same stood at Rs 82.23 crore in the July-September 2011 quarter.
