Nausheen returns

Nausheen is playing the role of a traditional Indian woman Archana,who believes in gender-specific roles wherein girls have to manage home and guys have to be the bread-winners.

Nausheen Ali Sardar,best remembered as Kkusum,a middle-class working girl,which she essayed in a serial by the same name,is making a comeback to television and this time in a mothers role.

Nausheen is playing the role of a traditional Indian woman Archana,who believes in gender-specific roles wherein girls have to manage home and guys have to be the bread-winners. That is the theme of Imagines new show Beend Banunga Ghodi Chadhunga.

It8217;s when a medico girl enters the household in the form of Nausheens daughter-in-law that the thought is challenged.

Nausheen,who was missing in action on the telly,was last seen in a film Three Love,Life,Betrayal. The film,however,was a flop and Nausheens film career was stalled.

I realised that by waiting for films to take off I was wasting my time,so I decided to come back where I had already proved myself and would get what I wanted, reasons Nausheen,who also dabbles in theatre and recently was part of a play called The Play Begins At 8.

In the past,Nausheen was one of the few actresses who got to play a triple role in the serial Kaal Chakra.
