Japan nuclear plant worker dies
Tokyo: A male worker in his 60s died at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on Saturday,Tokyo Electric Power Co said. The worker was confirmed dead after he was rushed to hospital after falling unconscious at the plant,TEPCO spokesman Yoshinori Mori said. He was exposed to 0.17 millisieverts of radiation during the work. But,as he was wearing protective gear,no radioactive substances were detected on his body, Mori said.
Dewani sexually assaulted: report
London: The murder case of Anni Dewani,killed during her honeymoon in South Africa,has taken a new turn with evidence that she was sexually assaulted. Her husband,Shrien Dewani,is accused of organising her murder. The post-mortem examination on Dewani reportedly shows that she was forcefully held by her calf moments before her death,leaving a bruise.
Shanghais one-dog limit takes effect
SHANGHAI: Chinas largest city is setting a limit of one-dog per family to gain control over the soaring pet population and curb rabies. The new rules,which take effect Sunday,also slash fees for dog registration,and require those walking dogs to keep them on leashes.
