J&K ministers son held for assault SRINAGAR: The J&K Police Saturday detained Karma Stalzin,21,the son of Tourism Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora,for allegedly assaulting a shopkeeper in Leh. Mohammad Hussain complained that Stalzin and his friend assaulted him when he asked them to move their car from in front of his shop. Hussain claimed he rescued by fellow shopkeepers. Naya Raipur: HC lifts stay on land acquisition RAIPUR: A month after the Bilaspur High Court stayed land acquisition proceedings in upcoming capital Naya Raipur,another bench of the court has overruled the decision. After hearing the arguments of Naya Raipur Development Authority that the interests of farmers will be protected,Justice Prashant Mishra lifted the stay on land acquisition. Justice Satish Agnihotri on February 24 had passed an interim order giving relief to over 6000 farmer-members of the Samiti.
