Iran snubs US,Israel over Rouhani inauguration

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that the US and Israel have not been invited to attend the August 4 inauguration of the country’s president-elect Hassan Rouhani

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that the US and Israel have not been invited to attend the August 4 inauguration of the country’s president-elect Hassan Rouhani.

Spokesman Abbas Araghchi said Tuesday that leaders from all other countries have been invited to the swearing-in ceremony.

His remarks Tuesday clarified that US leaders are not in the welcome list. Iran also doesn’t recognise Israel.
