Indian Bank submits Rs 177-cr final dividend cheque to FM

The final dividend cheque was submitted to the Finance Minister by Indian Bank Managing Director T M Bhasin.

Public sector lender Indian Bank on Sunday said that it has submitted a final dividend cheque of Rs 177 crore to Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

“The dividend paid on Sunday is in addition to the Rs 85-crore interim dividend paid in March 2010. This makes a total payment of 65 per cent dividend by Indian Bank to all stakeholders for the financial year 2009-10,” Indian Bank said in a statement.

The final dividend cheque was submitted to the Finance Minister by Indian Bank Managing Director T M Bhasin.

At present,the Government of India has over 80 per cent shareholding in Indian Bank.
