The 17th Karmapa,Ogyen Trinley Dorje,has said he is not a Chinese spy,agent or plant in India. Speaking out for the first time on Monday after foreign currency worth several crores were seized from his monastery in Himachal Pradesh,he refuted the allegations in media reports,reaffirmed his commitment to the Dalai Lama and said he would never do anything against the interests of India and its people.
… The time has come to make certain fundamentals clear… I am not a Chinese spy,agent or a plant in India. I am deeply grateful to the government of India for giving me refuge in this great country, he said.
