The Madhya Pradesh HC has stayed the operation of Indore JMFC Courts order directing the police to file an FIR against Lokayukta P P Naolekars son Siddharth Naolekar and others in a case of alleged cheating by a real estate firm. Challenging the August 22 order in the Indore bench,Emaar MGF,the company which is developing a real-estate project near Indore airport,argued that the plot-seekers had been explained everything at the time of purchase. Lawyer hacked to death in public Chandigarh: A land dispute in Fatehabad,Haryana,took an ugly turn Saturday when a group of people slaughtered the lawyer of their rivals in full public view. S K Bansal bled to death while his assailants,brandishing swords,escaped. Police said Bansal had contested the land dispute case on behalf of a resident of Bhattukalan. The dispute over the land had dragged on for several years before a Fatehabad court ordered its auction. Police have booked Vijay Kumar,Ravi,their relative Anil Kumar and friends Satbir,Shankar Lal and Suresh Kumar for murder. No arrests have been made yet.
