Chand Mohd is once again Chander Mohan. On Tuesday,the former deputy chief minister of Haryana underwent a purification ceremony to return to the Bishnoi fold at the temple of Guru Jambeshwar here.
The saints of the Bishnoi community,who had come from Mukti Dham temple in Mokam,Rajasthan the supreme religious place of the community conducted an hour-long ceremony to cleanse Mohan. This included a havan,administration of water purified by mantras to him and a certificate by the Bishnois on his purification.
He was also warned that a repetition of such mistakes an apparent reference to his conversion to Islam to marry Fiza a.k.a Anuradha Bali would be dealt with severely.
While Mohan8217;s mother Jasma Devi was present during the other family members,including his first wife Seema Bishnoi,stayed away.
Besides the warning issued,Chander Mohan was asked to donate 100 quintals of dalia at a gaushala located at Mokam. He admitted that he had strayed from the path of truth and promised to serve humanity,while reiterating full faith in the Bishnoi community.
