Former Union minister Md Taslimuddin along with hundreds of supporters joined the ruling JD (U) here in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday. Welcoming him to the JD(U) fold,Kumar said he had now moved to the right party from the RJD. Taslimuddin,he said, had always been concerned about the development of Seemanchal districts of Bihar and with his joining the JD(U),development work in this area would gather much needed momentum. Kumar took a dig at the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre for its alleged step motherly treatment to Bihar by denying it its rightful demands for funds.
