Blazing fast cards
SanDisk has unleashed new CompactFlash memory cards for DSLR cameras that have read/write speeds of 90 megabytes per second,at least 50 per cent faster than existing technology. The new Extreme Pro cards employ the UDMA-6 bus,in addition to a new memory controller,to offer data transfer speeds that are measurably faster. SanDisk says the Extreme Pro cards are for those who need the speed for fast-action burst shots and the room for capacity-hogging RAW images. However,the 64 GB card will cost a whopping Rs 57,499 and the 16-GB cards only slightly more affordable at Rs 17,499 .
