CSE index jumps 1,633 pts in weekly trade

The Calcutta Stock Exchange surged over 1,600 points during the past week on good buying support.

The Calcutta Stock Exchange surged over 1,600 points during the past week on good buying support.

The CSE-40 index rose 1,633.16 points during the said period to settle at 7,512.27.

In the previous week the index was down 1,262 points.

Amclukie Investment was up Rs 294.10. Larsen & Toubro gained sharply to close at Rs 1647.

Reliance Industries was higher at Rs 2,126 and State Bank of India was at Rs 2,311 at close.
