Crompton Greaves said it has bagged a contract for installing high voltage offshore substation for the 288 MW Butendiek wind power project in Germany.
The order has been awarded by German group WPD,which is a developer and operator of wind farms.
“Butendiek is a 288 MW German offshore wind farm project to be installed in the North sea. The design and manufacturing will take place during 2012 and the installation is planned for 2013,” Crompton Greaves said in a statement.
Crompton Greaves (CG),which is part of Avantha Group,would design,engineer and supply off-shore high voltage substation.
