HUDCO decreases interest rates for housing projects

The government-owned financier Housing and Urban Development Corporation (Hudco) has reduced its interest rates by 0.50 per cent for project loans in the housing and infrastructure categories and for individual loan under HUDCO Niwas with effect from April 1,2012. For Economically Weaker Section (EWS) housing schemes,the applicable floating interest rates would be in the range of 8.50-8.75 per cent and the applicable housing loans for lower income groups (LIG) would be 9.00 per cent. For government and public sector housing projects,and infrastructure projects such as water supply,sewerage,solid waste management etc. the floating rate of interest would range between 11.25-11.50 per cent.

Real estate firm Godrej Properties has launched a premium residential project offering residential apartments and penthouses in Nagpur. The project will offer 2,3 and 4 BHK Vastu compliant luxury apartments and penthouses ranging from 1,321 sq ft to 5,900 sq ft.

Orris to build 200-acre integrated township in Greater Noida

Realty firm Orris Infrastructure said it will develop a 200-acre integrated township in Greater Noida. The township,named Orris Curio City would come up on the Yamuna Expressway. In the first phase,the firm is offering 850 plots,with areas 240 sq yards,300 sq yards,360 sq yards,500 sqyards and 650 sq yards. The township will have a mix of plotted development,villas,group housing and commercial establishments. The launch price is R 22,000 a square yard and the basic infrastructure in the township is slated to be ready by 2015.

Adani Realty to invest Rs 1,200 cr in Mumbai suburban project

Adani Groups real estate arm Adani Realty Business plans to invest R 1,200 crore for constructing a 29-storeyed structure in suburban Mumbai. The upcoming project in Lokhandwala Complex and Seven Bungalows in Andheri,will offer premium and commercial office space of about 1.3 lakh square feet and nearly 7.5 lakh square feet of residential space. Around 400 residential units ranging from 2BHK plus study to 4 BHK would be built.
