Avalon group launches housing project in Bhiwadi
Realty firm Avalon Group has launched a housing project at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. The Gurgaon-based company will develop 1,100 flats in the 15-acre project Avalon Royal Park. The average price would be Rs 2,500 per sq ft. Apartment sizes would vary from 1,250 sq ft to 2,800 sq ft.
CIDCO to take up development projects in Rajasthan
Maharashtra government-owned City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced its entry into other states to take up development projects. The organisation is slated to undertake projects in Jaipur in Rajasthan soon. CIDCO,the force behind developing Navi Mumbai is involved in projects like townships and industrial centres in Kolhapur,Solapur,Aurangabad,Jalna,Nashik districts and Kalyan,Bhiwandi,Badlapur and Sahapur towns in Maharashtra.
KUL to set up shopping complexes in Pune
Realty firm Kumar Urban Development (KUL) said it will be investing Rs 250 crore to set up six shopping complexes in Pune. The shopping complexes will come up in various parts of the city including Hinjewadi,Bibewewadi,Kondhwa and on the Baner-Pashan Link Road,the company said in a statement.
Retail realty market looks promising: Survey
Despite negative sentiment,retail real estate market appears to be promising as leading brands and retailers are pursuing expansion plans aggressively,says commercial real estate services firm CBRE. According to a survey India Retail Market View by CBRE,India witnessed increased transaction activity and retailer expansion in January-June period. Leading brands and retailers increased their presence across key retail hubs. Retail mall rentals witnessed growth in prime city micro markets of Delhi,while values in high streets increased in Mumbai,Bangalore and Pune, the report said. Nearly 1.12 million sq ft of mall supply was added in the first half of the year,largely in Bangalore,which was less than 20 per cent of almost 6 million sq ft added during the same period last year.
