Actress Charmi is eagerly awaiting the release of Sye Ata,where she has an author-backed role. Directed by KRK Pavan and produced by Nalluri Rajashekhar and Sudharani under the banner of Frames Entertainment,Sye Ata is a heroine-oriented film. Charmi,who made her debut in 2002,is a popular name all over South. Actor Ajay has a key role in the film that is set against the backdrop of television reality shows. Devisree Prasad has scored the films music.

Komaram Puli due in May
The Pawan Kalyan film Komaram Puli,directed by S.J. Suryah,is getting completed and gearing up for release in May. Produced by Singamala Ramesh,Komaram Puli is a high voltage action movie where Kalyan plays a cop. Debutante Nikeesha Patel,who portrays the role of a police officer too, is the heroine. Manoj Bajpai,Charan Raj,Nasser,Jyothi Krishna,Bhrahmaji,Ali and Girish Karnad form the rest of the cast. A.R. Rahman has scored the films music.

Kalabhavan Mani in the lead
Kalabhavan Mani will be playing the lead role in critic-turned-director Vijayakrishnans Uthappante Kinar. The film is based on a short story by Karoor Nelakanta Pillai. To be produced by R Rajesh under the banner Karthik films,Uthappante Kinar also stars Vinoo Mohan,Shruthi,Indrans,Kochupreman,Jagannathan and Kanakalatha.

Prithviraj,Mamta in Singaravelan
Prithviraj and Mamta Mohandas are all set to play the lead roles in Singaravelan. The movie will be directed by filmmaker Diphan,who had earlier given the blockbuster Puthiya Mukham. Produced by Seven Arts,Singaravelan will have Mamta playing a village girl. The film,which will be scripted by Babu Janardhanan,is likely to commence shooting in July. Its to be noted that Mamta,who is once again getting busier in Malayalam,is already acting opposite Prithviraj in Anwar,directed by Amal Neerad.

VKPs next titled Three Kings
Jayasurya,Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith will be playing the lead roles in Three Kings. It is directed by V.K.Prakash,also known as VKP,who has his own standing as a successful ad filmmaker. He has also made films like Freaky Chakra,Punaradhivasam,Mullavalliyum Thenmaavum,Moonnaamathoraal etc. His last film was Gulumaal,which was released a few months back while his Telugu film Kavyas Diary too was released last year. To be produced jointly by VKP and Vachan Shetty,Three Kings will start rolling in August.
