Cardamom futures down 3 pc on profit booking

Similarly,the spice for delivery in August eased by Rs 25.50,or 2.96 per cent,at Rs 835 per kg,with a business turnover of 104 lots.

Cardamom prices for delivery in September moved down by Rs 22.50,or 2.54 per cent,to Rs 861 per kg,with a business volume of 65 lots.

Analysts said fall in demand at existing high levels against fresh arrivals in the physical market mainly led to the fall in cardamom prices at futures trade.
