For the first time in India,the finance minister will have another office and that too outside the North Block. The upcoming Rajaswa Bhawan in Delhi which will house the headquarters of both the central boards of direct and indirect taxes will have the minister’s office on the second floor. It will be complete with the full compartment of his personal staff. The two ministers of state will also get rooms there along with the revenue secretary. Lest some one thinks anything else,it was a price the members of the two boards extracted to move out from the Raisina Hill and their close proximity to successive finance ministers.
