Ram Charan Teja is too busy with Telugu films to do Hindi movies
He is only two films old but megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja is happy with the way his career has shaped up in Telugu cinema and is in no hurry to join the Bollywood. Teja’s second film Magadheera became the first movie to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in Telugu cinema.

“I am committed to my south movies,so no Bollywood project this year. Why do I need to be in Bollywood when I have such a large base here? The amount of publicity and financial support that is given to us in the south cannot be matched in Bollywood,” said Charan.
The 25-year-old,who was in Melbourne to shoot his third Telugu film Orange opposite Genelia D’Souza, said,“I am waiting for that Hindi project which I feel it is deserving for me.” Teja said that he was offered the remake on Maghadeera in Hindi, which he turned down.

“I did get the offer to remake Magadheera in Hindi by the same producers as Ghajini but I turned it down because I don’t see myself recreating what I have already done, and if the director is not the same, the next director can mess it up,” he said.
Acting was an obvious choice for Teja, whose father Chiranjeevi is a superstar in Telugu cinema.

“When the opportunity is at your doorstep, why would you want to leave it and take up something and start all over again? But it’s not that easy because you are somebody’s son. There is more of a baggage. I thought this is a good challenge and I stepped into it,” he said.
“Being an actor’s son gives you the initial push. You start the engine and change the gear…but I think it is a good start,” he added.
The young actor is now looking forward to find the girl of his dreams and settle down.
