Bangalore: Court extends custody of two held for terror plot

The Bangalore police were given a three-day extension of the custody of two of the 14 youths arrested in connection with an alleged terror plot by a court

The Bangalore police were given a three-day extension of the custody of two of the 14 youths arrested in connection with an alleged terror plot by a court here on Thursday.

The police said that they needed the duo,Mohammed Akram,22,and Obedullah ur Rehman,21,to access password-protected attachments in email accounts.

Eleven others,produced in court on Thursday at the end of a 28-day police custody,were sent to judicial custody. The police custody of another co-accused,Dr Nayeem Siddique,will end on September 29.
