Amitabh Bachchan has expressed a desire to learn at least one musical instrument. He revealed that he sometimes randomly hits the keys of his piano.

The actor will be heard in santoor player Rahul Sharma’s next album,wherein he recites lines complemented by the santoor and saxophone played by Grammy award-winning player Kenny G.

Bachchan recently finished shooting for the second part of the advertisements for Gujarat Tourism. He will be seen walking barefoot and spinning the charkha (spinning-wheel) at Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad in the commercials as the brand ambassador for the state. The mega-star even tried to spin some fibre himself with the charkha.

The actor has also discovered a penchant for new words such as dolorifuge (that which drives away sadness) and nikhedonia (the pleasure and satisfaction derived from the anticipation of success) on Twitter. He has also begun tweeting in Hindi with a doha from his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan being one of the first Hindi tweets from the actor.

Mallika Sherawat returns to India

Mallika Sherawat arrived in India after a gap of two years and immediately began making the right noises about missing Indian food and the like. The sexy actress was in the United States shooting for Jennifer Lynch’s Hisss and Politics Of Love. She is currently in India to promote Hisss and shoot for her next Hindi movie Double Dhamaal.

Hisss also features two songs sung by Mallika herself. One of the songs has been composed and arranged by music legend John Lennon’s son Julian while the other has been composed by German composer Alexander Von Bubenheim,who provides the background score for the film.

The music is scheduled to be launched at a major event in mid-September in Mumbai.

Sonu Sood confirms Dabangg sequel

Sonu Sood has suddenly found his place in the sun while promoting his latest movie Dabangg. He plays the role of a youth politician called Cheedi Singh in the movie and says,“Cheedi completes Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan). He is a powerful and unpredictable character. He adds humour to the negativity and is quite similar to the character of Gabbar Singh.”

The actor has confirmed reports about the movie’s sequel being developed in one of his interviews. “A sequel will happen… I don’t want to reveal a lot but Cheedi Singh may come back in the sequel,” said the actor. Sonu also said that his five-year-old son Ishaan has become a huge fan of Salman and aspires to have a body like him after interacting with him during the making of Dabangg. Sonu will be seen next in Priyadarshan’s Bullet Train with Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn.
