ABVP hits back at BJP,says girls unsafe in MP

Its members on the run after blackening the face of an assistant professor in Khandwa,the ABVP on Tuesday turned on the BJP,alleging that girl students were feeling insecure in Madhya Pradesh. In a major embarrassment for the ruling party,the students body alleged that girl students were being subjected to sexual harassment on campuses across the state. PhD guides are allegedly demanding sexual favours from students and hostel inmates are reporting cases of exploitation,ABVP leader Vishnudatt Sharma alleged while demanding the constitution of a commission to probe into these incidents. He cited sex for marks scandal that rocked Jabalpurs NSCB Medical College and the alleged harassment of a research scholar by a head of department in Gwalior University.
