Ahmedabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai, Feb 18 (ANI): The Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad members in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata took to streets to protest against the 'anti-national' sentiments that have risen from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Members of ABVP from Ahmedabad raised slogans against those who supported the anti-national elements in JNU. An ABVP leader said they will continue their protests till the anti-nationalists are punished. In Bengaluru, the student took out a 'Tricolor march'. A protestor of ABVP in Bengaluru said they condemn the act of central universities rising to support the anti-national slogans raised in JNU. In Kolkata, ABVP members were seen raising slogans against the anti-national elements.

New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Three office-bearers of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) unit on Wednesday resigned in solidarity with the ongoing students' protests against Centre's 'manhandling' the row at the university. Saurabh Sharma, joint secretary of ABVP and JNUSU, said they haven't received any resignation letter till now. He added that they scarified their career because of the pressure created by others.

Hyderabad, Jan 21 (ANI): Four days after Dalit PhD scholar Rohith Vemula ended his life, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) student leader Nandanam Susheel Kumar, with whom Vemula had a tiff, alleged that Ambedkar Students Association (ASA) members attacked him in the presence of university security personnel and forced him to apologise. He said the reason of Rohith’s death should be examined and there should be a fair enquiry in it.
