The lead story in Screen issue dated September 3 was refreshing to say the least.

The informal interview between the lead trio of Kajol,Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal must be the most frank and fun write-up I’ve read in a long time. The questions that the cast asked each other showed the level of comfort and maturity that they would have shared through the making of the movie.

I must admit that I was in two minds about watching the film but after reading this interview I immediately made up my mind to watch We Are Family on the big screen with as many friends as possible. Now I can only hope that the movie will not disappoint me.

The Supreme Court Monday issued notice on a plea seeking an independent and expeditious investigation into the June 12, 2025, crash of an Air India Boeing Dreamliner in Ahmedabad, which killed 260 people. The bench also termed as “unfortunate” media reports which indicated that “pilot error” was to blame for the crash, purportedly quoting some preliminary findings by the AAIB.
