17 injured as molten iron falls on them

At least 17 people were injured when molten iron fell on them following a minor blast at a steel plant in Durgapur.

At least 17 people were injured when molten iron fell on them following a minor blast at a steel plant in Durgapur.

The police said the injured were admitted to a local private hospital after the accident at Amit Metallic Steel plant in Angadpur industrial belt.

Three of the injured were said to be in serious condition.
