After taking a big first innings lead of 259, did well to claim opener Ajit Kolte (40) in their second innings on the penultimate day of the three-day Times Shield B Division semi-final at Karnatak ground, Cross Maidan here on Wednesday.
In the other semi-final Mumbai Port Trust were 339 for eight, in reply to Bombay Suburban Electric Supply’s total of 172 at Police Gymkhana.

RAHUL THAKUR (4-54) and Omkar Salvi (3-78) helped hosts Bombay Gymkhana to restrict PJ Hindu Gymkhana to 224 onthe day one of the two day Bichip u-22 Cricket Tournament at Azad Maidan here on Wednesday.
PJ Hindu Gymkhana were served well by opener Sachin Sawant (57: 8×4) and all-rounder Amit Tanawade (49: 7×4) after they elected to bat. At close, Bombay Gymkhana were 12 for no loss.
The other league match at fort Vijay ground, Azad Maidan was stopped after lunch due to to Taxi Union Morcha. The match will be continued on the second day.
