NEW DELHI, July 1: Vam Organic Chemicals has reported a net profit of Rs 29 crore on a turnover of Rs 327 crore for the year ended March 1998. While the net profit improved 26 per cent from previous year8217;s figure of Rs 23 crore, turnover rose 16 per cent from Rs 280 crore last year.
The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 5 per share for 1997-98. Earnings per share has risen to Rs 53.59 as against Rs 42.57 on an unchanged equity base of Rs 5.42 crore.
