JKTDC officials have, in fact, received many enquires about the package. ‘‘Last year over hundred couples turned up. This year we expect at least that many newly-weds,’’ he said.
Quiet a few are already here. ‘‘Snow peaks, dense forests and the lakes, it appears, are waiting for people who are starting their married lives,’’ said Mukesh Kumar Jha, a resident of Noida who has just got married. Suha, his wife, can’t wait to walk at the Dal Lake boulevard.
