Valentine is here again

February 14 is Valentine8217;s Day and it is a day filled with expectations and hopes. It could be a life-long commitment or then a heart-break. It is one day when flowers are just about everywhere and in everybody8217;s hands. Be it the young or old, the air is full of fun, expectations and hopes. This is a day when everyone is dressed in their best hoping that their Mr Handsome or Lady Beautiful will walk in. A expectation like this is but natural from any human being who would want the feeling of love in their lives.

I can still recollect my first Valentine8217;s Day very vividly, how my valentine my husband went out of his way to buy me a red rose and a beautiful card. He put aside all his other work and travelled 22 kilometress just to make that day special for me. Valentines Day may come very year but I will always have sweet memories of my first Valentine8217;s Day even when my hair becomes grey. I love my Valentine for the way he puts in minute efforts to make every day of the year seem like a Valentine8217;s Day not forgetting to say that he loves me. I am narrating this incident to you so that you also would try to make your valentine8217;s day special.

You might wonder why I am asking you to make this day special. Well the day comes once in a year and this year especially since it is on a Sunday there is all the more reason why it should be spent differently. The town will be filled with wine and dinner parties and Valentine8217;s dances, streets flooded with flowers of all kinds and card shops filled with cards of various shapes and sizes and plenty of gifts to present. While the town is painted in red for the day why not spend the day by yourselves, just the two of you. A quiet dinner or even a simple bouquet of flowers would make the day memorable for the rest of your lives. A card expressing your feelings would do the trick if you are at a loss for words at the right time. The saying Love is Blind8217; is true on such a day, cause even a single rose or a small gift makes a world of difference.
