Putting an end to the suspense over his party’s stand in the upcoming Assembly polls, MDMK general secretary Vaiko said today he would remain with the Democratic Progressive Alliance, the DMK-led Opposition alliance in Tamil Nadu. Vaiko’s announcement comes in the wake of speculation that he might join the AIADMK.Vaiko said, ‘‘The MDMK, which remains in the DMK-led alliance, is keen to strengthen the Front and work for its victory for the election.’’
