Milk suppliers to get Rs 3 more for fat
Milk suppliers of the district will get Rs 3 more for per kg fat given to the Vadodara District Co-operative Milk Producers8217; Union Limited Baroda Dairy with effect from April 1. The decision was taken at the Board of Directors meeting on Monday. While earlier they got Rs 170 per kg fat, now they will be paid Rs 173.
Commendation
Dr Rasila M Patel, MD, DGO Gynaecologist and Obstetrician has been awarded commendation by the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command, Indian Air Force. The commendation will be handed over to her by Air Commodore P P Rajkumar, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Vadodara, on Tuesday during the Station Ceremonial Parade.
Seminar held
A seminar on dyslexia, learning disability, was organised at the K G Patel Children Hospital, Karelibaug, on Sunday. P G Patel, A T Phatak and Pubali Basu were the speakers, who held detailed discussions on the identification, etiology and management of dyslexic children.
State-level meet
Surat: The Surat unit of Homoeopathy Medical Association of India will organise a state-level seminar on Homoeopathy on April 4 at Samruddhi, Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry SGCCI. Experts from Mumbai Dr Prabhakar Reddy and Dr Ram will attend the seminar.
