Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu rubbished the poll findings stating that the agencies which have done it have not followed any scientific methodology. ‘‘I have my own survey and I will reveal it at the appropriate time. I am pretty confident that the TDP-BJP combine will get more seats this time,’’ Naidu said at a press conference in Guntur.
Meanwhile, in Karnataka, Defending the exit poll results, Narendra Modi defended the exit polls, saying they have have predicted ‘‘exactly’’ for BJP and ‘‘exit’’ of Congress.
BJP Karnataka chief Ananth Kumar, while quoting the exit polls called upon the people to ‘‘join and give’’ a larger mandate to the people.
Former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa, who endorsed the exit polls that gave 21 seats to BJP hoped that the mandate would be still larger.
