ULFA triggered two more blasts on Saturday on crude oil and gas pipelines belonging to Oil India Ltd, as it and four other insurgent outfits of the North-East jointly gave a Republic Day boycott call.
District SP Bishnu Ram Medhi said that the militants exploded a powerful bomb on a pipeline deep inside the Rangoli reserve forest damaging a 400-foot length pipe, besides bombing a pipeline running parallel to the crude oil line causing a gas leak. No was injured. —PTI
