Chandigarh, March 24: The two-day University Grants Commission sponsored workshop for convenors of the Undergraduate and Post-graduate Boards of Studies of Universities in the North-Western region concluded today at the Panjab University.
Exhaustive reports on the current status of geography syllabi at the college and university levels were presented by the convenors for their respective universities, followed by discussions on modifications and upgradation. The workshop, which was attended by UGC Geography member panel, will be followed by five workshops in other regions of the country, workshop coordinator Swaranjit Mehta said.
