Two persons consume poison

CHANDIGARH, June 22: Two persons reportedly consumed poison in separate parts of the city today. Ravinder, a resident of Railway Colony in Mani-majra area, consumed a pesticide following which he was rushed to the GMC in Sector 32. He later said in his statement to the police that he had done so accidentally. He is stated to be out of danger.

Elsewhere, Vishal Sharma of Sector 21 attempted to commit suicide by consuming Phenyl. He was rushed to the General Hospital. Police said his condition is serious.
