NEW DELHI, May 12: THE central district police claim to arrested two cellular phone thieves and have reportedly recovered five phones from their posession. On a tip off, a raiding party held a successful stake-out near Matia Mahal in the Jama Masjid area and apprehended Arif, 30, and Sharif, 22.
The accused revealed that they selected only those targets where a cellphone was kept on the dashboard of a vehicle. One of the gang members would then bang his cycle against the side of the car to divert the driver8217;s attention. While the driver looked the other way, the other person made away with the cellphone.
