AMBALA, Jan 20:In one of the major haul-ups, the Haryana General Reserve Police today recovered 80 kg of charas from an Ambassador car and arrested the two persons smuggling the contraband. Railway SP Ajay Singhal disclosed that the contraband was being transported from Uttar Pradesh to an undisclosed destination by the two.Giving details, Singhal said that the two smugglers identified as Ganga Prasad and Rohit Dwivedi, both residents of Kanpur, had hidden the 80 kg charas worth over Rs 5 lakh in the false ceiling and an indigenously-built extra boot in the car.
