MADURAI, July 26: Police arrested two persons in connection with infliciting damage on the statue of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar in Ramanathapuram district. While some miscreants damaged a van hired by PMK volunteers at Rameswaram, bus services to the area were suspended and shops remained closed.
