NEW DELHI, November 19: Twenty prisoners were injured in Jail 1 ward 4 of Tihar Jail late Tuesday night after two communities fought with each other over an issue of offering prayers in a corner of the barrack they were occupying.

The incident took place around 11 pm after which there was a literal riot in the prison with the prisoners using knives and iron rods to hit each other. This continued till 1 am.
